First, performance and use


kathon antiseptic is a new type of antiseptic with high efficiency, low toxicity, broad spectrum and high efficiency, which has been widely praised in the world. By breaking the protein bond between bacteria and algae, kathon plays a role in killing and preservative. kathon has a strong inhibition and killing effect on common bacteria, fungi, algae, etc. After contact with microorganisms, kathon can rapidly and irreversibly inhibit their growth, resulting in the death of microbial cells. Therefore, the preservative performance of kathon is beyond doubt.


kathon is a broad spectrum, high efficiency, low toxicity, non-oxidizing biocide. It is widely used in oil field, paper making, pesticide, cutting oil, leather, ink, dye, leather and other industries.

Third, the use of methods

kathon is widely used in iron and steel smelting, oil field water injection, thermal power generation, paper making, oil refining, chemical industry, textile, industrial cleaning, cutting oil water-based coatings, daily chemical and other fields. kathon has a strong killing and inhibiting effect on bacteria such as sulfate-reducing bacteria, sludge molding bacteria, iron-oxidizing bacteria, mold, yeast and algae. Note: Cannot be used in circulating water systems containing sulphides.

5. Synthesis process

The synthesis of isothiazolinone starts from the basic raw material and is divided into three steps:


1. Preparation of dimethyl dithiodipropionate

2. Preparation of dimethyl dithiodipropionamide

3. Preparation of isothiazolinone


6. Packaging and storage

Kathon adopts 25KG/ plastic drum or 250KG plastic drum packaging
