Powder anti-mold agent for diatom mud, broad-spectrum and stable, environmentally friendly and long-lasting
Dust and microbial metabolites in building envelope materials provide nutrients for mold. As a porous material, diatom mud is more likely to absorb moisture, creating a breeding ground for mold. Diatom mud powder anti-mold agent is an additive specially designed for diatom mud coatings. It extends the coating life by inhibiting the growth of mold. The preservatives needs to have a long-lasting antibacterial ability in high-temperature and high-humidity environments, and at the same time be compatible with the alkaline system (pH value 4-12) and dispersibility requirements of diatom mud.
Product characteristics
Broad-spectrum antibacterial property: It has a strong inhibitory and killing ability against molds such as Aspergillus Niger, Aspergillus flavus, and Trichoderma green, as well as bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. It has a remarkable inhibitory and killing rate and can prevent the coating from getting moldy and discolored.
Long-term stability: It has excellent stability in dry film, is resistant to ultraviolet rays, high temperatures and rain, and is suitable for high-temperature and high-humidity environments.
Environmentally friendly and low-toxic: Free of heavy metals, formaldehyde and halogens, it complies with ROHS and other regulations, has low allergenicity and does not irritate the skin.
Dispersibility: The powder has high fineness, good suspension, excellent fluidity and is easy to process.
Core component
Heterocyclic compounds: They achieve inhibition and killing by destroying the cell membrane or metabolic enzyme system of molds.
Quaternary ammonium salt derivatives: Commonly found in fungicide formulations, they can act on the cell wall and cell membrane systems, causing the exudation of cell contents.
Enhancers and surfactants: Enhance the penetration and dispersibility of fungicides, and strengthen the adhesion to diatom mud substrates.
