Antibacterial mechanism:
Phenoxyethanol has broad-spectrum bacteriostasis. Its antibacterial mechanism is to act on the cell membrane, improve the permeability of the cell membrane to potassium ions, and inhibit the enzymatic activity (such as malate dehydrogenase) required for cell growth. . Phenoxyethanol has specific bacteriostatic effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and also has bacteriostatic effect on Gram-positive and negative bacteria.

Usage and Dosage:
Our country's "Cosmetics Safety and Technical Specifications" (2015 edition) stipulates that phenoxyethanol can be used in leave-on and rinse-off cosmetics, with a maximum usage limit of 1%. Recommended dosage: 0.5-1.0%.
Application field :
Widely used in the antiseptic and sterilization of personal care products, wet wipes, medicine and toy products. In the formulations of wet wipes, disinfectant detergents, medical device disinfectants and toy products, it can be appropriately used in combination with other sterilization products, and even used in medicines such as eye drops, injections and other preparations.
