Overview

BRPG-4 biological reagent preservative is a bacteriostatic agent that can be widely used in in vitro diagnostic reagents to control the growth of microorganisms. The active ingredient is a 3:1 mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CMIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT). These two components inhibit cell growth and promote cell apoptosis in the same principle, and work in two steps. After a few minutes of contact with the cell membrane, the active ingredients can immediately penetrate into the membrane and inhibit the activity of intracellular enzymes. The target enzyme is at the center of the KREBS cycle of cell metabolism, and the BRPG-4 biological reagent preservative acts on four different positions of the KREBS cycle. The metabolic growth of all bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms has at least the KREBS cycle, so this product has an efficient spectrum antibacterial effect.

It contains bacteriostatic and antiseptic agents for blood cells and biochemical dilutions, rinsing fluids, buffers and cleaning agents. It is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent, effective against bacteria, fungi and yeast.

Instructions

Storage, transportation and preservation

50g, 500g, 10kg glass bottles/plastic buckets, stored in a dark and ventilated place, the storage temperature is lower than 40℃, and the storage period is 3 years.
